So, for my Concept development final, I illustrated a poem I wrote a few years ago, about a dancing bear and the friend he makes. This project was very hard because it was 10 pages I had to draw lineart for, color and shade in about 3 weeks (plus going to work and my other classes). It has pretty much consumed all of my free time for the past couple weeks. I pulled an all-nighter the day before it was due, and just got it finished in time to go shower and go to work. Unfortunately, I did not have time to go back and fix some of the areas that were bugging me, but I got it printed in children's book format, with a heavy cardstock cover, and it came out looking pretty good. The good news is, I put a lot of work into it and was exhausted and tired of drawing bear fur, but I got an 'A', AND the teacher had us vote anonymously for our personal choice of #1 and I got voted Best in Show. So my hard work paid off! Hurray!
I hope you all like it as well--as mentioned, some areas are in need of some fixing, but they aren't getting fixed today!
Oh...and you can probably guess--full view is really strongly suggested. You won't be able to see much of anything in small view.
Because it has to be hand assembled due to full-page spreads, just to cover that and printing costs, I can do so for $20 + S&H. Let me know if you would like to do this and I will get one printed for you.
