Dream of the Endless

Today was my last day of classes for the quarter. A school day that usually has about 8 hours of educational content had about...45 today. BUT, I was still stuck hanging around the school. So, after finishing the two books I had with me, I went up to the school library and checked out a couple books of Sandman.
I have just started reading the series, and as a fan of both Gaiman and the graphic novel format, I predictably love it. So, after the library closed and I had to return my books, I thought I'd spend some time doodling. Since I had just spent a few hours with Morpheus, it was he that invaded my mind most insistently.
So, Morpheus, Lord of Dream, Shaper of stuff, member of the family of the Endless. He's pretty. I worked without reference, purely from impressions and memory, and so, in comparison to other art in his image I feel I fall short in many ways. I don't feel I did him justice, but this was a doodle to fill idle time and I appreciate him hanging around for a bit to inspire me.
