...so...wanted to finish at least one more thing before I went back to school tomorrow. There are many things that bother me greatly about this picture. The background is totally weak...but heck! At least it has one! I worked with no references (a bad habit I am striving to overcome) and so I know there are a few anatomy problems...and her skirt style had to be totally changed from the lineart because, well...what I had wasn't working and I couldn't figure out how to fix it. There are perspective issues and rushed coloring issues and other things as well...and for those I apologize.
However, I think I like the way this looks/feels overall. This is a similar idea to a couple of earlier pieces ([link] and [link])...seems to just be a concept I like and keep playing with...but I am happier with this than I have been with the other two. For the moment. Perhaps by morning I'll hate it.
Thank you so much! Hey, wanna hear something weird? Ya' know how we've never met or anything and I just know you from watching your mesmerizingly weird and brilliant art on DA and we don't even live in the same country? I totally had dream we hung out the other night.
Lol, nice! Yeah, that happens from time to time, doesn't it? It's funny how your brain can create a convincing interpretation of someone you've never met irl, voice and all. If you visit Canuckistan, we shall skip and jump and all of those fun things.

"You're on a first name basis with lucidity, little friend. I have to call it Mr. Lucidity, and that's no good in a pinch!"
