First project for my Illustration class this quarter. Had to be something that was a robot that said something about...like...the world or whatever. Like, our dependence on technology or um...someone did one that was the 'machine' that is the pharmaceutical industry (which was a super awesome rampaging godzilla-esque robot pill-bottle).
Mine is, as the title would suggest, the technology frontier...what with all the new stuff and competition and new territory, the world of tech is an untamed land being developed, like the Wild West...
Confession time...I wanted to draw a robot cowboy...so then I had to figure out how robot/cowboy = social statement. Still, there's all kinds of symbolism and stuff...AND it's a frickin' ROBOT COWBOY!
Done in colored pencil on canson paper, over way too much time...stupid colored pencils. (yeah...I know that the category might say this is painting or airbrushing, but that's a lie.)
huhuhuuh ^^..
nice work!

Judging others doesn't define who they are. It defines who you are.
